The Senate and the House of Representatives have to pass a government funding bill by October 1 to avoid a government shutdown. Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) will join Consider This host Antonio Mora to discuss the possibility of Congress reaching an agreement.

President Hassan Rouhani of Iran told the UN General Assembly on Tuesday that "peace is within reach," and that he wants to "remove any and all reasonable concerns about Iran's peaceful nuclear program."
