On this episode of TechKnow, Shini Somara takes a new technology for a test spin. It's called vehicle to vehicle technology, or V2V. Designed to protect drivers from hazards and fellow drivers on the road, each car is outfitted with a wifi system that carry information about a vehicle's location, speed, and route. The system is designed to communicate with other cars and the driver, issuing a warning if there's a vehicle in the blind spot, ice up ahead, or if there's a car running a red light at an approaching intersection.
