Refugees explain why they fled Syria

AJ+ asks refugees who recently fled from Syria to Turkey to describe why they found it necessary to leave

More than four years of brutal civil war in Syria have sparked the largest refugee crisis since World War II. Millions of Syrians have fled their country by land and sea, seeking asylum in neighboring countries and Europe.

AJ+ recently caught up with Syrian refugees who crossed the border into Turkey and asked them, "What was the last straw that made you leave Syria?"

Their answers were astounding.
