Sebastian Walker, Correspondent

Sebastian Walker is an investigative reporter and correspondent. He was awarded the DuPont, Emmy and Peabody for his reporting in Haiti, where he was a correspondent for Al Jazeera prior to joining "Fault Lines."

Laila Al-Arian, Senior Producer

Prior to joining "Fault Lines," Laila worked for Al Jazeera English for four years, covering everything from Guantanamo Bay’s youngest detainee to the re-settlement of Iraqi refugees in the U.S.

Paul Abowd is a journalist and filmmaker based in Baltimore.

Singeli began her career as a photojournalist for community newspapers.

Her camera and production work has been featured on PBS, HBO, Discovery Channel and National Geographic, and in numerous independent films, including the Oscar-nominated documentary "The Conscience of Nhem En." More...


Samuel Black, Producer

Samuel is a native of Portland, Maine.

Before coming to Al Jazeera, he worked at Jigsaw Productions, the film company of Oscar-winning director Alex Gibney. He helped produce documentaries such as "We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks," "Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer," "Casino Jack and the United States of Money" and and "Gonzo: The Life and Work of Hunter S. Lucy Kennedy, Commissioning Producer

Prior to joining "Fault Lines," Lucy was field producer for the PBS FRONTLINE film, "Two American Families" and the Moyers & Company film, "The United States of ALEC."

She produced investigative stories for the PBS series, "Need to Know." She has also produced for Bloomberg Television and Radio Telefis Eireann and worked on the PBS international documentary series "Wide Angle." More...


Sweta Vohra, Producer

Before joining Al Jazeera, Sweta was a freelance documentary producer and editor in New York City. In 2005, she traveled to Mumbai, India, on a Fulbright student grant and subsequently returned to India to produce two short documentaries on gender and political issues.

Nikhil Swaminathan, Digital Producer

Before joining "Fault Lines," Nikhil held online editorial positions at Scientific American, Good, and Seed magazines.

Most recently, he was senior editor at Archaeology, where he wrote and edited feature articles, in addition to managing the redesign and operations of the publication’s website. More...


Dana Merwin, Production Manager

Prior to joining Al Jazeera America,  Dana was director of operations for Jupiter Entertainment in Los Angeles, where she oversaw delivery of various series to Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and TLC.

She has also served as post-production supervisor on numerous film and television productions.
