How can we reverse the rise of diabetes in America?



On World Health Day, The Stream asks, what’s causing America‘s growing diabetes epidemic? According to studies, nearly 79 million are at risk, and if current trends continue, a third of adults will have the disease by 2050. To what extent does our fast-food culture and bad eating habits contribute to the spread of diabetes? How do we reverse the trend?
