On The Stream:  We discuss new reports on the impact long-term impact unemployment is having on the well-being of Americans and their families.   

The Bureau of Labor Statistics says 20 states have had a decline in unemployment, but for the millions who remain jobless, what are the long-term prospects?  According to a number of recent reports, the impact is not just economic but also having devastating effect on the mental health of those experiencing long-term unemployment.
