Gaming is an immensely popular pastime, but could it also be the future of news? Technological advances in virtual reality are opening the door to video games being used to put people in the shoes of a Syrian child or a Gitmo detainee. Some say it could fundamentally change the way we consume news, making us more compassionate and understanding by engaging not only our bodies and minds, but our senses as well.
